Unsold rooms lose 100% of their yield value the moment the sun goes down. NightPorter transforms distressed-inventory bedrooms into high-margin food, beverage, spa, and experience revenue. By requiring guests to meet a set minimum spend, you monetise unused capacity while filling your dining rooms, bars, and spas with high-spending clientele.
You retain full control. You set and adjust the minimum spend threshold for your rooms based on day of the week, seasonality, or specific room categories. For example, you might set a £150 minimum spend on a Tuesday night for a standard double, and £250 for a junior suite on a Sunday.
Guests check in and out through your standard front desk process. Upon arrival, you take a credit card pre-authorisation as you would for any standard booking. At check-out, the guest settles their final room folio (food, drink, spa, parking, etc.) directly with your reception team.
If a guest’s final bill falls short of the agreed threshold upon departure, your front desk simply charges the remaining balance difference directly to their card as a room supplement.
NightPorter is 100% risk-free for hoteliers. We charge zero listing fees, zero setup costs, and zero commission on your hotel’s food, beverage, or amenity revenues. NightPorter charges a modest 5% booking fee directly to the guest at the point of reservation to cover platform maintenance and member acquisition. You keep 100% of the minimum spend and any extra spend generated.
